Early Life

Leafmoon will always regret how she was raised, knowing her bendable mind at such a young age had been molded into a judgemental and self-righteous cat. She was known then as Bri. As a kitten, Bri and her sister Jessie were spoiled by their mother, and being born a rogue caused both sisters to act stuch up and rude, particularly to the clan cats that would come in and out of the town. Emma drilled into their heads that that clan cats were weak and that Rogues were strong because they could care for themselves without help. Emma was "party girl" and took on many temporary boyfreinds, but they all left after finding out that she had kits. When they were about five months old, Emma dumped Jesse and Bri in the forest, not realizing it was Brightclan's border. She had told them to wait there, but had never came back for them. Bri and Jessie never saw her again, but didn't care about her as they weren't super close. They made up a story that she died when they were younger, and they had stolen from kittypets to survive. Brightclan took them in, but once Bri and Jesse realized where they were they were disgusted, but dealt with it. They got free food and a den so that's all that mattered. Now known as Leafpaw, she watched as if behind a pane of glass her sister change from what she was. Or rather, not change at all. Leafpaw had realized her mistake in her ways of thinking as a kit and had been quickly welcome to the clan cats. Her sister, Velvetpaw, not so much. Leafpaw was still close to her sister, but deliberately kept her distance until she saw change for the better.

Young Love

Throughout her apprenticeship, Leafmoon was able to find quick friendship on Oakpaw, understanding his pain for his recently lost mother. Beforehand he had been determined to make friends with her and Velvetpaw, but now she was the one trying to keep him grounded. She also wanted Oakpaw to have light in his life like she did with ehr sister, coaxing him to play with his younger half-brother. As older apprentices, Leafpaw already knew she wanted to be mates with him, and decided to wait until she was a warrior to truly consider it. So she waited, and waited. Becoming Leafmoon, and him Oaklight. And she waited some more. Finally, she made up her mind and just asked him instead, apparently he hadn't gotten the clues she had obviously dropped. They were a rather young couple to be starting a family, but the entire clan had seemed to have been pushing them towards that route, seeing as they both loved kits. Leafmoon adores her little ones, Owlpaw, Cherrypaw, and Larkpaw.
