History:

Puzzlekit  started out quite small, despite his very large dad. But when he  reached apprentice-hood, his height shot through the roof. Twigflower  was on the smaller side, so he never got quite as big as his dad though  he was much taller than most of his clanmates. His best friend at the  time, Hollowpaw, was a moon older but helped him a ton to train and "get  buff" as they liked to say. Puzzlepaw grew very close to Hollowpaw,  almost like a brother, but not quite. All of the she-cats his age had  crushed on him, but Puzzlepaw could never get close to any of them as  more than a friend. This romantic confusion went on through warriorhood,  until it finally clicked. Puzzlepatch, with his new name realized that  he didn't want to love the she-cats around him, no he had his heart on  someone else. During their silent vigil, they both knew they were meant  for each other. That morning, Puzzlepatch told Hollowclaw that he always  felt so happy when they were together, but he never knew why until  then. Hollowclaw was surprised at the sudden confession, but he agreed  with Puzzlepatch that, he did have feelings to. For the next moon, they  kept quiet about their relationship, though some cats had noticed the  looks they gave each other. Finally, they decided to confront their  parents. Of course, Puzzlepatch's dad was of course the leader, and  Hollowclaw's dad was the deputy (at the time, before he retired). This  was very awkward at first, but Hickorystar was very accepting, and  Twigflower was supportive. From then on they were more public about  their affair, and although there were some who gave them odd looks, most  didn't care. After three seasons (9 months) seasons of being together,  they wanted to start a family. But because of biology, neither could  have children without a she-cat. With Hickorystar's permission, the pair  began to search for a willing she-cat in the twolegplace. They found a  kittypet, Licorice, who was willing. Her reasoning was, "I like being a  mother, but at 12 weeks they are taken anyways." From there, the toms  took turns checking on her, especially once the kits were born. Shadow  let Puzzlepatch and Hollowclaw to name them, and she allowed them to  bond. At 11 weeks, they took the three kittens to Thunderclan, to their  anxious clanmates. Because they were weened, Puzzlepatch and Hollowclaw  were able to take turns sleeping in the nursery with their kits.
