Early Life

If there was any raised voice in camp, it was almost always directed at Larkkit. She was single-paw-dly responsible for all of her sibling's mischievous games and adventures past the camp walls. Those on entrance duty knew to keep a special eye out for her, especially in the hour just after most cats had went to bed for the night. Larkkit seemed impervius to scolding or punishment, in fact it seemed to drive her.

Apprenticeship

Mudpelt seemed to be the only one (yes, that includes her parents and Hickorystar himself) who was ever able to influence Larkpaw for the better. Never control, just influence. He never seemed to get angry at Larkpaw, so she stopped trying to pull pranks on him. In fact, he seemed to not react at all to her misbehaviors. If she was late or didn't show up at all for training, Mudpelt just simply sit there unbothered. Larkpaw eventually caught on that it wasn't his problem if she never became a warrior, or if no one liked her for being unreliable. So, a lot of her antics slowed in to actually funny practical jokes, and she started taking responsibility. In turn, Mudpelt would show semblance of praise ad sometimes, though rarely, pride. Larkpaw would never forget when he defended her from the critical words of the other warriors during a hunting trip, his faith in her undeniably present even after she had failed to bring back any proper prey.
