- He will actually cry if someone takes him to the zoo. He loves the zoo so much. Knows all the big cats there on a first name basis.
- His hair is really soft and fluffy!! However, he's not a fan of random people wanting to touch it... that's just weird.
Cameron is a rather ... complicated guy. He's friendly, but doesn't really have many friends. He's distant and private when it comes to his personal emotional state. He's evasive whenever the topic of his personal life and issues are brought up, leaving his responses vague. He's a compulsive liar whenever anyone presses for personal details, and overall finds it hard to be open with anyone. Outside of his issues, he's rather clever and capable, finding it easy to problem solve and multitask in his day to day life. He's courteous, putting the needs of others before his own. He's intelligent, a perfectionist, and very passionate about what he loves. Cam is very prideful of his talents, but tends to maintain a humble exterior. Although delicate, he's very strong willed and has no issues with fighting for what he believes in, but he understands the value of picking and choosing his battles.

Cam was a quiet and reserved kid, preferring to remain close to teachers rather than his peers. He just didn't understand his peers very well, and didn't really enjoy the same things they did. Sports and video games were fun and all, but Cameron much preferred learning about animals. His very favorites are big cats, especially lions. While he does harbor a genuine love for them, his affection also stems from his mother's influence. She gifted him a stuffed lion that he cherishes, but since his father forced him to burn everything she'd ever gotten him, he's kept the lion a secret. It's safe to say his father has an unhealthy disdain for his mother, though he won't speak to Cam about why that is.
Cam's father was very much into the idea that Cam should be very masculine, very interested in a girlfriend, and very into sports. It stands to reason, then, that his father resents him for being rather reserved, allergic to sports, and not at all expressing an interest in women. Cam's always been more preoccupied with studying and learning more about animals! When he told his father of his intentions to become a zookeeper, however, his father was blatantly against the idea. Cam should be something that would bring pride to their family, rather than a glorified pooper scooper. His father flat out refused to help Cam get through college for his dreams, and due to Cam's inability to pay on his own, he picked up another job as... a camboy?!
Obviously, Cam's father doesn't know about this secret job of his, but Cam's had a few close calls. The money is good, though, much better than anything else he could land. He's been saving it all away to go to school to become a zookeeper, though he also wants to get veterinarian credit that he can apply on the job as well. Of course, that's incredibly expensive, so Cam has plenty of work to do... When he was met with an ultimatum to either get a job or move out, Cam opted to work as a part time barista at a local cat cafe. He's told his father that he works somewhere else, though, to avoid being berated for choosing a job that wasn't very rugged.
While working at the catfe, Cam met Cypress, his boss. Despite the difference in their positions, Cypress is a dear friend of Cam's, and they enjoy each others' company while on the clock. Cam especially adores the cafe's mascot, Luna, and sneaks her extra treats when Cypress isn't looking.
Cameron resides in a world very similar to our own, where dainties aren't a rarity but aren't incredibly common either. He lives in a city that, while developed, isn't too loud or crowded as far as cities go, making it a nice choice for those who enjoy spending time outdoors. The city isn't completely crime-free, but it's decently safe to be out alone at night. The weather is usually sunny, so a nice rainy day is a change of pace. Cam lives in his father's house on the outskirts of the city, and commutes to work daily.
