Reichard Dynatius

Reichard Dynatius, as the single most politically powerful man on the planet of Invidia, is saddled with a ton of responsibilities. This has made the formerly-unpredictable and fun-loving man quite stern and practical, sometimes coming across as being cold to those who he is in charge of or to those who don't know him that well. The deaths of his parents made him grow up a little too fast, as he had to take the CEO position at D-SEC into his own two hands at a young age, so he still has a lot of emotions to sort through, but he tries his hardest to do his best for his company and for the people he oversees. When he gets a chance to step away from work, he proves to be rather caring at heart. He mourns the passing of those close to him, but he always does his best to look forward towards the future and not allow grieving to get in the way of what he has to do.

Reichard was raised by his stern mother, Alea Dynatius, who was the CEO of D-SEC at the time. Because she was so strict, Reichard actually grew up being a bit of a troublemaker, although he would always get in trouble for it afterwards. His father, Albern, was more gentle and kind, although he had a tendency to take Alea's side when it came to scolding. As Reichard grew up, he took care of his education in learning to become the next D-SEC CEO, but would often play hooky. It was on one of these outings that he met a woman named Jezebel Rose, who would soon become his wife. Life would soon get tougher, however, with the untimely passing of his mother, and his father soon after due to malnutrition caused by depression. That left him in charge of an entire company he wasn't ready to handle, and when his wife died a few years later, leaving him with two children, he vowed to renew his efforts and step up to become someone worth his title.

Reichard is one of the most important characters in Time of Death, as he is the face and embodiment of D-SEC as a political power. He begins the story in control of the company, and will drive the plot forward for some time before Drake takes reign.

Furthermore, Reichard's relationships with both of his children and with the three lead Executives has a significant impact on why the plot is the way that it is.
