Personality: Doesn’t care for his own wellbeing. Believes that things are out of his control and everyone just goes with the flow. Doesn’t tend to care about outcomes, what ifs, and the such. Admires people who don't fit into that mindset and finds them very interesting. Is gullible and can’t really form his own opinions as they are very very easily influenced. Is touch repulsed and hates people being in his personal space, physical affection is incredibly rare from here, even for the people he does care about. Although his wellbeing isn't something he cares about, he becomes very protective of the people he cares about, willing to sacrifice everything for them if he has to. Friendship is something he is not used to but something he mourns not having when he was younger. He cherishes the positive relationships with people he makes now. Is kind and although comes off of blunt, most people who meet him describe him as a good kid. Is autistic and schizophrenic. Ferus has consistent nightmares about the Divide and the people he knew who died there and doesn't sleep a lot, or for long, because of it.

Story: Ferus was taken into the Legion as an infant when his tribe was wiped out and integrated into the Legion. He  was chosen by his centurion who was looking train a special kind of soldier for the Legion, ones who are more loyal, less likely to talk back, and willing to die for Caesar. Training was held in the Divide and was brutal, leaving only a small group of survivors Ferus became the only survivor from this group when he left on a scouting mission, the Divide exploding and killing the rest of his group. Back at the Fort, due to his quite and attentive nature as well as willingness to keep quiet and follow orders, Ferus was made into a Frumentariis. Another frumentariis, Putoria, noticed this and decided to use him for her own advantages, trying to get Caesar to notice her and promote her over the current head of the frumentari, Vulpes Inculta. 

When Legion soldiers started getting killed by a lone NCR sniper, Ferus was the one sent out by Putoria to kill her. This sniper was Oizys and in the struggle, she could have killed him, instead she spared his life. Ferus was told to follow her and he decided it was easier to spy on Oizys by becoming her travelling companion, to her displeasure. After Oizys gets hurt sneaking into and out of the Fort, Ferus nurses her back to health. Oizys eventually grows to trust him until he betrays her, getting her caught by Putoria. Realizing his mistake, Ferus helps her escape and he soon is caught by the NCR. Oizys helps him escape, in turn, and the two become wanted fugitives in the Mojave.

Ferus helps Oizys more with her efforts to save her brother, Momus, and the duo soon build a team of allies from groups such as the Vipers. They attack the Legion during the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. Momus is not found in the fighting and Oizys convinces Ferus to leave east with her, to find her brother. He agrees.

Out east, Oizys and Ferus slowly figure out, among the disruption of the Legions wiped out leadership, who the new Caesar is and how they can form a plan to take the Legion down for good. They get into contact with a group called the Eyes of Mars and try to convince the cults leader, Cordelia, to help. She declines. Around this time, TK shows up and joins their group, getting Oizys's approval when Ferus said that she is trustworthy. They get allies in various Legion settlements and take away Legion territory bit by bit until there isn't much in Legion control anymore. The three get in contact with a confidant of Oizys in the NCR, hoping she will help them take Flagstaff. They get the NCRs support and this changes Cordelia's mind about helping them fight the Legion.

Ferus warns Courier about Vulpes and that he will turn on them, later being proven right. They are unable to find Oizys's brother in the fighting and Ferus, Oizys, and TK leave. Eventually, they find him in a small tribe with his boyfriend, Argus, and the three settle there afterwards.
