• Injections (has a phobia of them since every time he had one with RED something bad would happen, the worst case being he woke up a cyborg)

Strengths 

• Sharp shooter, he's good with any gun you put in his hand.
• Makes explosives and smoke bombs (which includes bombs with timers/detinators, mines, grenades, mustard gas, tear gas and so on)
• His cybernetic limbs help him out a bunch to be stronger, faster and more accurate (within reason).
• Cybernetic eye can change between settings for night and day giving him an advantage in any light.
• Quick reflexes.
• Pretty good sense of judgement.
• High pain threshold. 
• Can fix almost any machine or vehicle you put in front of him.
• Fast thinker.... some of his ideas are a little zany but it's amazing how many of his ideas actually work.

Weaknesses 

• Can't swim
• Rip off his collar and he falls like a sack of crap! The transmitter for his limbs is on there.
• Any of the ways you can kill a human you can kill Jet.
• Hurt him and he doesn't care. But threaten to hurt those he cares about and you got him by the balls :V (figuratively speaking)
  
  
  

Personality:
Mixed... it all depends on who he's with and what the situation is.
He's pretty cocky and not afraid to die or injure himself, but he fears for other people's lives/health (those close to him) and may be protective or insist he does what ever they're doing for them.
He's generally quite playful and quite a fun lover and acts like a big kid goofing around, playing video games and so on. He missed out on his childhood and it's almost like he's making up for lost time! Though he usually knows his limits and knows when to be serious.
He's pretty placid a lot of the time but it's not uncommon for him to be grumpy, though he's pretty good at controlling his anger and won't lash out until he's at the end of his tether.
He's not too good at controlling his tongue though, if he has something to say he'll just say it even if it offends someone. But hey! at least he's honest!
He's pretty music orientated, he's not shy to dance in front of people and although his singing voice isn't exactly great (some may say annoying) he'll sing along if a song comes on he likes. When he and Pixi get together they could wake the dead with their singing! There's no shutting them up! 

History:
Jet Static, who once went by the name of Trent Cooper was borne in a little house in the forest.
He was one of three children, triplets. Trent was the first one borne and also the strongest.
As he aged he realized that Travis was the more vulnerable of the trio and would stay by his side where ever he went and support him.
Life was fine for the children for a long time, but little did they all know was that their mother was struggling financially to even put bread on the table, never mind pay to have a home.

When the children were just 6 years old Trent and Travis were put into the back of a stranger's carraige and their sister Matilda was sent away with some strange lady.
Their mother had made the decision to sell all three of her children to catch up financially and be able to keep up having no extra mouths to feed.
All three children had their hair turned permanently to bright colours by magic by their mother- a marker to other fairies to stay away from them. And the buyers of the boys tore out their wings and tails believing they would be unable to fly off if they had no wings or flight tails.

The children all ended up in slavery with demon masters; it's unknown what happened to Matilda during the years to follow, but Travis and Trent were kept together as a pair.
It was apparent that the best way to punish the boys if they didn't do as they were told was to punish not the offending child but the other one. This way the boys did exactly as they were told so that there were no consequences for the other sibling.

Travis didn't do well in this situation, and had it not been for his brother being strong for him offering comfort and support then it's pretty certain Travis would have broken under the pressure.

As time went on the boys grew up and were passed along from master to master, and each time they would obtain more scars on their backs from lashings and beatings. But they were always kept together.
This went on for many years, right up until modern day in fact.
They had experienced over the years the traffic on the roads going from horse and carriage to motor cars and then even hover bikes making an appearance.
The buildings changed too from small houses with pointed roofs to towering skyscrapers.
Their final destination during their years of slavery was with an organisation called RED.
RED was a secret organisation. They had control of literally everything in the country and even controlled the public via the media, advertising and incorrect history being learned to children in schools.
RED watched everything and had access to records about everyone.
Travis and Trent were disposable to RED, but they had potential. They were taken on as head hunters to kill off anyone who threatened the organisation.
Travis and Trent didn't want to kill anyone, but they knew that if they didn't do as they were told there would be consequences for the other sibling.

It went on for a long time that the two of them did as they were told without question and would take the lives of any target they were given.
They were efficient at their jobs but also unhappy.
One evening the two of them had enough, they were given a target to destroy but instead of go after them the two of them tried to run from RED.
This made their master angry! Both of them were hunted down and brought back, and both were punished severely!
They were to be sent to the lab as guinea pigs as their punishment and undergo painful procedures which would permanently change them.

Trent was sent into one lab which dealt with bio technology and it was there his legs, left arm and his left eye were removed and replaced with prototype cybernetic limbs- The idea being just to see if the tech would work rather than how well it worked.
He got off lightly compared to Travis as not only did the tech work but it worked well. Not that being torn apart and put back together with prosthetics is exactly "getting off lightly"

Travis however was sent to a lab which dealt with biological science.
The tests they done on him were with DNA splicing- the purpose being to see if they could take aspects of animals and improve a humanoid form.
They took DNA from a bat, a goat and a large dog and spliced it with his own to see what they could create... but the experiment was a failure.
Instead of "improving" his form they'd instead turned him into a hideous chimera.

The brothers were re-introduced some months later and allowed another chance to work together.
Trent being the most likely to rebel again had a tracker planted under his skin on the side of his head which would explode if he attempted to disobey again.
And once more the brothers did as they were asked without question fearing that if they disobeyed again their punishments would be worse next time.

After some years going on like this they were sent to take out a target called Lucia Svalov, a member of freedom fighters BUSTER who'd gotten a great deal of information about RED from a demon who claimed to be related to royalty.
She was a huge threat to the organisation and needed stopping pronto.

Trent and Travis were the first ones on the scene and got straight to work, but this time the target didn't go down easily.
She was unarmed and actually kind of scrawny! But she had luck on her side and fast reactions.
She managed to kick Travis in the throat and disable him for a little while by winding him, and she'd managed to rip off Trent's collar which held on it the receiver which made all his limbs work and made him fall to the ground like a sack of bricks.
The boys had failed RED a second time and it was without doubt they'd be punished. Trent had an idea to avoid it though!
Lucia had actually done him a favor by removing his collar as not only did it have the receiver on which made his limbs work but also the receiver which made his tracker work. without the collar the tracker was temporarily offline. The only reason Trent had never taken his collar off before is because the tracker would have exploded if he'd done it himself.

With his remaining real arm he used a shard of broken glass found on the floor and cut the skin on the side of his head, then pushed out the tracker.
His collar went back on afterwords allowing him to stand up again and the brothers once again went after Lucia.
This time however they weren't going to kill her- They wanted her on their side.

This brings us up to date.
These days the boys and Lucia (who changed her name to Pixi) work against RED together in their own little group they refer to as "Static" which is made up of several people each with differing skills and things they can contribute.

Trent (Jet) made a promise to Travis (Zero) that one day he'll see to it that he's changed back to normal and will no longer have to live as a chimera.
But we'll see how that goes.
Until then they're enjoying their freedom the best they can while they work together to bring RED down.
