Profile
Just random shit that would outrun the profile by a mile:
- Vulcans can lie and Taunek especially has his pants constantly on fire
- Despite giving every and any story a 'try' and reading them, he seems to gravitate toward educational textbooks instead, as they hold his interest longer.
- Knows quite a bit about engineering, but his biases for furthering his knowledge is solely math, xenobiology, and earthen politics
- Can pilot quite a few machines (such as hovercars and bikes, water-based vessels, and small-sized space freighters). It's for the job's sake.
Before he got with the V'Shar, he was only proficient with shuttlecrafts (for the Starfleet entrance exams) - Body temperature runs really hot compared to humans. Humidity/high heat is more comfortable for him than colder temperatures.
- Wants to be an Earthen ambassador.
...Never gonna happen, his superiors know what he's all about lmfao. - Honestly the reason he was late to his Starfleet entrance exams was because he had been out partying with a bunch of cadets the night before... he was so humiliated he took the first shuttle back to Vulcan and tried to drink his shame away. It worked tho! Lololo so emotional
- He had already spent a few years admitted into the Vulcan Science Academy, thus knowing tons about xenobiology.
- Favorite food is carnation and dandelion flower salad sprinkled with Earthen bee pollen.
Since it's rare to have it replicated well, his second favorite-- and more eaten-- is soy protein steak with cashew gravy on a bed of broccoli and Bajoran lettuce - Oh, right, he's vegan. Didn't think to mention that :p
- Never thought to use any sort of internet to communicate with others, going 'old school' (but more canon compliant) and simply getting out and meeting others through happenstance. Thus his desperation with meeting humans as Vulcan isn't all that hospitable to unbonded ones...
- Feels unsettled when he's forced to act more emotional undercover. He's afraid of losing too much control.
- Cuts his own hair into that less-rigid style.
You can thank a random Starfleet officer for saying it looked cute when Taunek had cut it for one of his first undercover missions. (This memory in of itself has been seared into his brain, ofc, and he p much loved it) - Hesitates to repeat things that humans ask to hear come out of his mouth. Usually gives in since they get all giddy over it. ....So cute....
- Has only gone through 1 pon farr. His betrothed bores him. She feels the same way. Judgy af toward one another.
Their families are totally oblivious about this blooming animosity lol - Has broken a few bones since becoming a V'Shar agent... honestly, before being accepted into the work, he was a bit of a sad-sack of a nerd.
- Hates singing and won't do it for anything in the world. Same with playing music. Listening to music is fine, just... participating ain't his thing.
- Has a fair amount of body hair under all them clothes 👀
- Weak to humans and their whims, but not naive by any sense to their tricks. And BOY do humans have tricks. He doesn't hesitate to comply with their wishes, and point out that he knew he was being used after.
One-- strategically, this bewilders most humans ("to be precise, eighty-seven point zero-six percent show signs of shock via facial expression and breath intake when i admit knowing 'their angle'.") which simply delights Taunek.
Two-- he hopes that the more intelligent of the bunch will come to realize that he is either owed favors from them now, OR will continue to 'abuse' him-- either way, Taunek wins. Most of these favors in his name end with this pointy eared freak getting a nice, firm handshake (aka a heavy make out session for Vulcans), or being allowed a knee-buckling mind-meld.
