Physical Appearance

Clothing Style

Sirius tends to keep a rather simple style, usually dressing in suits for his government job. His previous intern job only allowed for plain black business formal outfits, so he has gotten used to dressing without much personal style. His current position allows for more freedom in his outfits, but he hasn't had much opportunity to refresh his wardrobe yet, nor has he given it much thought. He's most commonly seen wearing a white button up shirt with a black suit jacket, black dress pants, a black tie, and black dress shoes. His jacket has simple silver cuff links, and his only other accessories are a pocket square, some silver rings, and his earrings, which are usually simple studs.

Personality

On the surface, Sirius comes off as confident, charming, and cool headed toward strangers and acquaintances. He knows how to keep a calm and professional exterior, and he's almost always seen with his "customer service" demeanor. He appears to be an ideal, hard working employee within his workplace and never gives anyone a reason to complain about him, so he's well liked by his colleagues and known to be reliable with completing his tasks. However, this is simply a result of him working hard to make his way in the world and finally rise in the ranks. Sirius is extremely persistent and independent about pursuing his goals, but he is very used to rejection and constantly deals with self doubt about his competency as a result. He works hard and will bend over backwards to please others, hoping that his efforts will be worth it in the end, but this opens him up to being a doormat and being easily taken advantage of. He tends to be too stubborn to give up even when things seem to ultimately not worth his time, and stepping back and starting over, for some reason, does not seem to be an option for him.

Not very many people know Sirius on a personal level, and he wouldn't say he has much of a personal life either since he is a workaholic and has discarded most of his past hobbies to work on trying to advance his career. Now that he has a salary, and a startlingly high one at that, he has the opportunity to ease back and take more time to care for himself. Despite this, Sirius doesn't always know how to occupy his time when he isn't working and has trouble winding down. Casual activities and personal discussions tend to make him uncomfortable at this point since he isn't used to interacting with others without his professional facade.

Backstory

Sirius doesn't talk much about his background, but he apparently originates from Madrigal on Transvana, and he moved out to Daliarivon once he felt ready to live on his own. He was apparently dissatisfied with the environment of Madrigal and wanted to venture out into the modern world. However, he initially had trouble finding work who would take the education he got in Madrigal seriously, especially since he wasn't interested in fields that were more closely associated with the skills that are most valued on Transvana, namely magic, alchemy, and other similar professions. Sirius was more interested in working with data, yet he had a hard time getting his foot in the door until he got an intern position for the Daliarivon government. At first he accepted the unpaid position to gain experience in order to apply for better paid jobs later, but after a few years he realized that he still was being passed over and unable to find any paid positions that would accept him. He kept with his unpaid position longer than most would out of stubbornness and unwillingness to give up and try something else.

He finally got his chance when he happened across the King at the top of the Daliarivon hierarchy, Renegade Spangler, after leaving a meeting between him and Sirius's boss. Renegade immediately picked up on his “unfairly compensated employee” vibes and offered him the opportunity to essentially do the exact same job he’s already doing, just in his division instead and as a paid employee. So Sirius, of course, accepted and is now pretty much an assistant in the office, doing mundane tasks and fetching coffee but for a startlingly high salary instead. Although he's more than willing to take on more responsibilities, Sirius is hesitant to ask about it until he's settled into the "king's" division for a while longer, for he definitely doesn't want to do anything to screw up now that he's finally been given a chance.
