About

Scorpius is a professional archer. He can shoot a bow and arrow well enough to be on live television. He’s won gold once a couple years back and silver twice throughout his career.

Whenever he’s not training for tournaments, he’s out teaching other Nunukes how to use a bow and arrow over the summers. He gets paid decently for this side gig.

Scorpius was born with a condition that makes him cry black goop from his eyes constantly.

It’s a genetic thing that runs in his family. It’s annoying to have to deal with something like this on a daily basis, but he’s unfortunately used to it.

At least he’s not the only one who has something like this, since it’s actually a little bit common for some Nunukes to be born with the same eye condition as him.

Personality

Scorpius is a sour grouch who doesn’t usually indulge in small talk, but he’s not necessarily downright mean. He just doesn’t have a good reason to believe why he should be extra nice or polite to people when he can just talk to them normally or whenever he feels like it. He doesn’t like being forced to socialize if he doesn’t have to.

He gets extra cranky whenever he has to wake up early in the mornings and extra cranky whenever it’s late at night and he’s drowsy. He’s more of a noon/afternoon person.

He’ll show you that he cares for you (if he does) rather than telling you. Actions speak louder than words to him, which is why he never talks all that much unless he has to.

Abilities

Like most Nunukes, Scorpius was born with a stinger tail that can be used for self defense.

Not only does he have eye goop, but he also has black body goop as well. It drips off his body and stinger tail like slime.

He also has a pair of magnetic legs, a magnetic torso, magnetic back, and magnetic shoulders, so certain parts of his body have a natural magnetic pull to them.

Backstory

Scorpius grew up with a mother and father and his younger sister in a small apartment. Though he and his family didn’t have much money, and he had to share a room with his sister up until he moved out for the longest time, he still managed to get by well enough in life.

In high school, he originally took archery just because he was required to select a sport for his PE credits, and he just thought that shooting some arrows would be better than getting hit by a ball.

However, he ended up liking archery a lot more than he originally thought, even going so far as to be the number one archer in school and captain of his archery team.

He went to community college after high school graduation to study computer engineering stuff, but then realized that he didn’t want to do that shit for a living, so instead he stopped college and continued doing archery professionally and full-time.

He also had to work part-time at a cafe for a while before being able to earn a decent living out of professional archery. It’s only recently did he finally make enough to quit the cafe job and start becoming an archery coach.

Other

Unlike most Nunukes, Scorpius is actually missing a tail pom pom on his stinger tail.

His right eye, the one covered with hair, is actually more blind than his left. His left eye has 20/20 vision while is right eye isn’t as great.

He also has one unattached light blue eyeball, a color unlike his red eyes, that follows him everywhere he goes. You’d be surprised how much that unattached eye helps with his archery.

His one and only left demon-like wing is completely useless in terms of flight, since it’s just a magnetic clip on and a fashion accessory, and is there to drip more black goop off his body.

He grew up never having any romantic or sexual attraction toward anyone, thus how he found out that he was aromantic asexual. At first, Scorpius thought he was broken, but then he realized that living life without a romantic partner isn’t always a bad thing. And it’s not like people can actually die together anyway. In a literal sense, people always die alone eventually. So he brushed that thought process aside and didn’t think too much of it.
