Bianca is a reserved but warm-hearted person who is quietly upbeat. She tends not to express things outwardly much, but she's usually in quite good spirits. She's just a bit introverted and more content in observing than participating, often sitting to the side and softly smiling at the energetic antics of her more outgoing friends. Her quiet laughter is healing...

She's a gentle and passionate person with a sincere love of the natural world around her, finding beauty in every blade of grass. She has a love of art and can often be found painting the landscapes of the places she travels in her adventures. She feels painting gives insight into the soul of the painter, and uses it as an introspective form of meditation to improve her confidence and courage to face the world.

Background

Bianca suffered through an unhappy childhood at the hands of an abusive mother and a meek father. Her mother was an ill-tempered and spiteful person who held no love for her and would stunt her emotional growth constantly by shooting down her confidence at any opportunity. Her father, while loving his daughter, feared Bianca's mother and could not bring himself to stand up to her for the sake of his child. The only thing he was able to contribute to Bianca's life was introducing her to love of painting, which came to be her escapism.

In her adolesence, both her parents passed away, leaving Bianca living on her own and lacking the ability to function particularly well socially. She became a little bit of a shut-in, only going into town for shopping and finding paint subjects; she had no real friends to call her own.

Synopsis

When the Beacon Bandits arrive in her town in pursuit of Virgo, she unwittingly befriends Kaishu when he becomes fascinated with her paintings. She begins to open up socially thanks to his friendship and even attends the town's festival. However, an incident there ends up awakening her paintbrush as the legendary sword, White Light, catching the attention of the Stellar Twelve's Libra, an ally of its original owner, Virgo. She is arrested under false charges and detained in the depths of Libra's prison, the Underworld.

Inside she befriends Thaddeus, who was also imprisoned, and Aquarius, a former ally of the Stellar Twelve who betrayed them when they became evil. The other Beacon Bandits mount a rescue mission to retrieve Thaddeus, and Kaishu insists they free Bianca too. As events transpire, Aquarius sacrifices himself to protect Bianca and Thaddeus and is killed, opening Bianca's eyes to the truth of the world under the Twelve's rule. She found the strength to stand up for not only herself, but the world, and joined the Beacon Bandits as their 8th member.
