Vince

just going to throw some stuff in here, and organize later 

- vince is kind of the blacksheep of the family, due to his inability to find "real work" among other things 

- estranged from what remains of his family

- younger brother is will, but they haven't spoken in years 

- the last contact he had with his brother, was will screaming over the phone, and blaming him for not being by their mothers side, on her death bed. 

- his mother died in the hospital following a freak accident, two years after he ran away from home, at the age of 16

- his father was overall a kindhearted man, but was a very strict disciplinarian, and unemotional with his children, due to how his father had raised him. plus the fact of his falling apart relationship at the time, not to mention his own festering insecurity, probably didn't help with this matter. 

- was physically disciplined by his father, as a child, but only on rare occasion (though it still haunts him)

- his father finally snapped after his ex wive's passing, and now lives in a group home.

- vince was a quiet, but curious child, though as he grew, his passion for the arts, and somewhat feminine behavior, were increasingly frowned upon, by his family, especially by his mother. 

- vince attempted to rescue his younger brother from their tumultuous home environment, but was caught, and arrested not much than a week later, after they were caught stealing a bag of chips from a convenience store. 

- when vince was still living with his family, he would often try to stand up for his brother, even when he did awful things, like throw rocks at the animals in the ally. he would even take the beatings dished out from his father, for will. 

- after running away at 16, vince found himself on the street for a few years, hoping houses, or sleeping under the on ramp by TGIfridays.

- he has an addiction to sleeping pills, but is too fearful to try anything stronger 

- cut's his left arm from time to time. sometimes in order to feel, some times to take his mind off the pain, and loneliness. sometimes just to feel inspired (though he hates himself for cutting at all) 

- lives in the boiler room of an apartment downtown. he has an unspoken agreement with his landlord, after they discovered him squatting, that they would leave him alone, as long as he was quiet, and took care of the boiler. 

- his apartment is always messy, and he has little muse (or energy) to clean the place. 

- he has attempted many odd jobs, but will usually mess something up, by being clutsy, or not communicative enough, or showing up late to work. 

- sometimes paints on the free newspapers, that come from the box down on the corner. 

- puts out scraps of food daily (mostly what he tries to eat, but isn't able to stomach) for a cat that visits his apartment. he has lovingly named them doorstep (so creative X"D)

- sticks paint brushes in his fur, as there is little space to set things around his home.

- is often too tired to get out of bed in the morning,  but if he hasn't passed out with sleeping pills, he will sometimes stay up late into the night, with seemingly  boundless energy, to work on a painting. 

- has a social phobia, and prefers to remain inside, as much as possible (though he desperately craves connection, and love) 

- usually has very little appetite, and is ungodly thin 

- when stressed, will cut, pull out his hair, or pick at his face (he doesn't really care for how he looks, and avoids mirrors) 

- likes to wear loose clothing to cover his emaciation, and injuries. 

- doesn't like to talk about his missing plume.
