Description
An adopted tortoise. Marcus adopted Chase with his roommates during college. When the group graduated, they all discussed who would take Chase. Marcus ended up being Chase's final caretaker, as the rest of the roommates bid them (and Marcus) tearful goodbyes as they graduated.

Chase was named so because everyone was "chasing their dreams" and "slow and steady wins the race", combining into a message of "don't give up chasing your dreams because you'll get there no matter how long it takes."

They have been traveling with Marcus during his move to California, and has been with him there for over 8 years. His current carapace size is approximately 5.5" across.

They love dandelion greens and enjoy sunbathing outdoors.
