Katie is very quiet to most people and doesn't talk very often. She likes to be social with people she's close to, but it's uncommon for her to do so with people she's never met before. She can seem very sleepy at times, leaning against whatever is near her and laying down often, but most of the time she's just really lazy. When playing guitar, she tends to go with the flow and not pay attention to her surroundings as much, almost like going into her own little world to focus on whatever she's playing. With someone she loves or cares about dearly, she can act very defensive for them and disregard most of her quiet tendencies, almost becoming violent at times, however this is pretty rare.

Childhood
Katie grew up in a pretty close family, albeit a little small. When she turned 8, her brother mysteriously disappeared without a trace. Her parents seemed to have no idea what happened to him. There were no signs of him or anything that did happen to him, so it's assumed that he either passed away from something unknown or is off doing something in secret away from everyone else. She became pretty seclusive after that, not really talking with many people other than a few close friends. Her parents ended up going off to do their own thing to leave Katie alone by herself.
Early Adulthood
She started to try out turf war and sports like that, but never seemed to get into it much. She plays it sometimes, but it's not as fun to her. She ended up persuing her own interests, such as creating music and learning instruments. She picked up guitar and continued learning about it in secret, not really showing off to anyone in particular. When her guardian, Aria, found out about it, he persuaded her to join him to form a band of sorts. She accepted, although hesitantly, and they began to work together. Through this, she's become a famous underground guitarist, spending many of her nights spending time with her bandmates.
Present
Ever since then, she met a really nice girl she's together with now, and is spending a lot of time with her, going easy on a lot of things. She's slowly improving on her guitar skills, trying to become the guitarist she's always dreamed of being. Though she gets into antics with her friends, she lives a pretty quiet life with her girlfriend. Maybe some day that band thing will work out, too.
Aria
[ Guardian ] Katie's guardian, and lead vocalist on the band she's on. He tends to be pretty protective of her, but leaves her alone when she doesn't wanna be bothered. He helped a lot with improving her guitar skills, too, giving her motivation whenever he could.
Kumori
[ Girlfriend ] Katie's partner. They met each other during one of the last big splatfests, and have been together ever since, watching each others backs and keeping each other company. There's no one else Katie cares about more than her.
Fey
[ Old Friend ] She hasn't talked to her in over a decade. Used to be best friends when they were kids. Where could she be now...?
