Thoughtful academic that focuses on magic powers. Science at large mystifies him despite working so closely with it, it is definitely something of an obsession to him. He is not seen by others too often, most of his research requires working alone (or rather, it's unnecessary by far to have assistants and so on around).

His personality otherwise can be lacking, unless attentive toward his theories, studies, and observations-- 'severe' is probably the best way to consider his attitude beyond sheer wonder towards magic and science (and the two mingling).
