About

Akkoro is a tall and slender man with heterochromia(Left eye- Bright green. Right eye- Grey) from being sanitized, and dark circles under his eyes from late night researching. His fingers ombré from black. He usually is clad in his knee-length lab coat and dark black turtleneck with his favorite anchor necklace around it, it was a gift from someone dear to him. He also has two wallet chains on each hip in case he needs to hold his many keys, test tubes, and other things.

BACKGROUND

Akkoro grew up treated like a prodigy. From constantly hearing praise from the adults around him, he quickly earned the interest of the Octo King. In his early teens, he became a personal engineer for Octavio. He was treated more as a personal slave, but became used to the cold and harsh treatment. Because of this, he developed an inferiority complex and constantly craved praise from others. He met Marina Iida when he was tasked with checking the competence wasabi supply unit. Akkoro rapidly became infatuated and the two entered a relationship. In the middle of their relationship, Marina gave Akkoro a necklace with an anchor on it, symbolizing that she would be his anchor. Once they had gotten slightly older, Marina mentioned wanting to escape. This turned into an argument between the two, which ended in Marina leaving Akkoro behind. Akkoro, at 20, became intrigued by the salmonoids and their growing population. He began experimenting and researching about them, which caught the eye of Commander Tar Tar, who believed Akkoro would make a strong asset to his scheme. Tar Tar tried to sanitize Akkoro, however, the sanitization only partially worked, because Akkoro became too corrupt from madness and obsession over the salmonoids. The sanitization left Akkoro with some physical mutations, such as his ink color and eyes. Once he figured out a possible way to manipulate sound waves to control salmonoids, he began to attack. However, the Squidbeak Splatoon caught wind of what he was doing and stopped him before he could cause major damage. 

Currently

Currently, Akkoro lives in an apartment with Venus. When she decided to give him a chance at redemption , he immediately accepted. Akkoro had an admiration for Venus’s confidence and her compassion, this led to Venus becoming the focus of Akkoro’s crave for validation(...not romantically).He applied for a job as a music theory teacher at Inkblot Art Academy so he could be closer to Venus and observe her more closely and keep an eye on the many guys that wanted to win her over. He was quickly hired when he showed the employers he could play piano with his toes(freaky 🤪). He also has an issue with stalking Marina in the square and else where, which usually ends in Venus telling him to talk to her and Akkoro refusing and fleeing in embarrassment. He enjoys watching Venus at open mics along with his other students performing, reading, creating new gear and weapons for the Squidbeak Splatoon with Sheldon.
