Basics
A young Esper from the western wastelands. He grew up in poverty and learned the tradtional Khenid arts of botany and natural pharmacy. After leaving his barren homeland he tried to make a life in Waterwall selling herbal remedies, but was met with hatred for his race and Esper status. The Magistri kidnapped and experimented on him, resulting in the scars he has today. After this he vowed to protect all Espers from such a fate, and devotes his life to building the sanctuary hidden behind a pub. He is cold and aloof, but also precise and attentive. He cares deeply for his work and his family. Very quiet and stressed, smokes to calm himself.His Esper powers are very weak.

About
Avedis was born to a nomadic Khenid tribe that wanders the western Wastelands of Ilea. He was schooled in tradtional skills like botany and herbology, but never learned to read or write. His parents died when he was a young teen, and shortly after he made his way eastward to make a name for himself there and sell his herbal remedies to the people there. But the people weren't kind to him and he was forced to move often. He found his way to Sheka and healed none other than Basil Larkin of a deadly Illness, gaining the Espers favor. Basil quickly took him under his wing, seeing the young mans potential and even gave him the money he needed to buy the house in Waterwall that would later become the sanctuary. He is introduced to Basil's daughter, Iris, and marries her so he can protect her. He grows to love her and takes her with him to Waterwall.
Scars
Sometime before arriving in Sheka, Avedis was living in Waterwall already, where he met Rowan. While living there he was kidnapped by the Magistri, in order to be experimented on. This excruciating torture tore up his skin across the face and vertically from his chest to his neck. The scars are still fresh, they hurt and bleed and may never heal, due to how they were inflicted.
Personality
Always quiet and reserved, Avedis does his work diligently and with precision. He cares for detail. He is seemingly emotionally distant, but he actually cares so much, about everything. Loud, big crowds unsettle him, and being around people for a long time drains him immensely. The only person excempt from this is his wife, Iris. Although their marriage was arranged, they fell in love quickly and had a second, more private ceremony (not like the big pompous royal one they had in Sheka) that they consider their "real" wedding.
