The arrogant twin-headed bird demon that watches over a quiet lake. One head sees into the future and the other, into the past.
The Heron makes its nest out of ruined buildings and broken statues. It leads a private life, forbidding all from approaching the lake and it devours any brazen enough to touch its waters.
It considers itself the eldest of the Greater Demons and demands respect from those around it. It would only communicate through its servants, all who are living constructs made from the rubble in its nest.
The Heron was once two separate beings that have combined together under the belief that it would amplify their divining powers--or at least this is what it claims. Others believe it to be the result of an accident.
