Rumors are heavy things in the demon realm. They fall between small stones and seep into the earth where the Crying Worm swallows them.
The Worm burrows and tunnels endlessly underground. It can hear every spoken word from the world above and holds knowledge of a great many things. While the Worm normally shows no interest in sharing this knowledge with others, it can still be persuaded into selling this information in exchange for shiny bugs.
The dark and deep caverns left behind by the Worm's tunneling are what demons refer to as the Endless Hollow. Many demons have conquered these terrifying depths and made the Hollow their home, creating sprawling subterranean cities and settlements.
Cursed soil occasionally falls from the Worm's eyes in wet clumps, giving it the appearance of crying.
