Personality

Aspen is a fairly complex person. On the outside, Aspen is extremely hostile and aggressive. She is very willing to fight others if she feels in some form threatened, whether it be herself, her values, or someone she cares for. If she doesn’t like you, she will let you know. Aspen will be blunt, straightforward, and say what she doesn’t like about you without any flowery language. With her constant resting bitch face, it can be hard to read her. She tends to hide her emotions from others a lot, and is very standoffish. She does not let others in easily, and if she does let you in, she trusts you a lot. Underneath her outer shell, she is still quite aggressive and blunt, but isn’t quite as hostile. She will be more open and chaotic with you, but won’t let you into her deeper emotions. Very few people have that level of trust with her. As a whole, Aspen will not let herself be pushed around, take shit from others, or be controlled by the opinions of others; she will stand up for herself, no matter the situation.

Abilities

As it is for just about every werewolf, Aspen has the standard heightened senses, glow-in-the-dark eyes, wolf form, and transforming on the full moon. An ability that is somewhat unique to her, especially at her age, is being able to transform just her forearms. With them, she has increased strength, and strong, sharp claws; a very useful tool in combat. However, it comes with its drawbacks. It can fairly easily drain her energy. Additionally, if she’s not careful, Aspen can easily lose control of herself and turn fully into her wolf form. She has to keep a strong mental fortitude and fight against her feral instincts. So not only is it physically taxing, it can be mentally draining too. She tries to limit herself to using it only when situation absolutely demands it.

Trivia

• Aspen’s denim jacket she wears for her night outfit is the same one her dad wore when he was a teenager. The “1991” is his graduation year.
• Of all the kids, Aspen is the only one Danny trusts using the gun.
• She is extremely wary of humans knowing of supernatural stuff.
• Aspen's birthday is in November, about a week before her dad's

Relationships

Sterling [ Best Friend / Adoptive Brother]

Sterling is Aspen’s best friend, and is practically a brother to her. The two will be chaotic dumbasses with eachother, roaming Lakewood at all times of day and doing many things together. When it comes to talking to strangers, she lets him take the lead, as she is more introverted and doesn’t consider her social skills the greatest. Additionally, Sterling is better at making shit up on the fly. Sterling is one of the few people Aspen has let into her true feelings, and told all her secrets to. When there’s nobody else, there’s always Sterling.

Danny [ Friend / Uncle ]

Danny has been in Aspen’s life since she was a very young child. He was the weird but cool uncle, and she’s always liked him. It wasn’t until her teenage years she formed a stronger bond with him, and got to see how truly batshit he can be. Danny admits he’s not perfect, and she admires that about him. He’s always had solid life advice and views, and she looks up to him.

Hollis [ ??? ]

A new supernatural. He seems very confused about a lot of things. He certainly needs some help with his werewolfism, and understanding supernaturals. She just doesn’t trust how friendly he is with some of the humans…
