Gin

Gin is the leader of small desert tribe, comprised mainly of desert dashers and crafters, but boasting a curious mix of various other races as well. Thanks to their numbers being so diverse, they've established a very successful little trade empire, able to produce and offer a variety of goods to barter and sell to anyone and everyone - even shooters, when they're interested. Gin makes the safety and success of the tribe his highest priority, and has forsaken much development in his personal life to that end.

As a leader, Gin is very passionate. He's generally firm and confidant, willing to take advice and put his foot down in equal measures. He can come off as a little too relaxed, but anyone who knows him knows just how seriously he is in actuality. He is usually seen smiling, often telling jokes or amusing personal anecdotes. In many ways, he acts as though everyone he meets is his best friend, and he is always incredibly hospitable to guests.

In spite of his soft demeanor, he's a rather ruthless businessman at heart, willing to claw, undercut, and deceive anyone around him to ensure the success of his tribes trading empire. Sure, it's not usually his preferred method, but he's never far removed from it. At the end of the day, his tribe is what he cares about, and everyone else can bite it. This also means that more global policy doesn't concern him much, so he doesn't hesitate to trade and sell to shooter parties that pass through, if he seeks to gain from it. In the same breath, he also puts a great deal of money and time into the village defenses, mercilessly punishing anyone caught hunting or attacking his denizens.

His best friend Babette also serves as his secretary who is solely responsible for keeping him in line.
