Enigma Beast

A giant creature of unnameable species that serves as the familiar of Laistrygon, a witch of unknown origins.  It can also become a portal for Laistrygon to use to access different points in space. In general, Enigma Beast can traverse realms that Laistrygon cannot, and the two appear to share one mind, or, rather, Enigma Beast is an extension of Laistrygon's mind of sorts. 

In behaviour, the Beast is feral and capricious, on most part comparable to a wild animal. It does display what could be interpreted as emotions, and it's most evident when interacting with Paramirum/Antiphates that the Beast appears to be protective of, and even affectionate towards, nuzzling against them and curling up next to them. On most part, however, the Beast is often seen accompanying Laistrygon. If one sees the Beast, Laistrygon may be nearby, too.

Enigma Beast's general form can be quite amorphous and fluid, and they can vanish into thin air, appearing somewhere else. The Beast most often appears covered in fur, which is soft and dense and it absorbs and bends light in unusual ways.
