Eddie

- While Eddie appears to be shy and quiet at first, as soon as he gets comfortable with someone (which takes 5-10 minutes) he becomes the world's most hyper chatterbox

- He's just!! Always very happy and excited!! His talkativeness and hyperactiveness usually deter most people, which makes him sad but once he finds someone willing to tolerate him for more than a few seconds, he's basically attached at their hip for life

- Very compassionate and righteous, if he stole a cookie from the cookie jar, would immediately fess up within the first 5 minutes within stealing and cry for forgiveness

- He's incredibly eager to please others, but that also means that he takes everything very personally and is incredibly sensitive to what people think about him

- Eddie is the world's biggest superhero nerd and now that he is technically a superhero, he's constantly on cloud nine

- Eddie's world is one where superpowers are incredibly rare, and usually develop in late teens

- Superhero-ing is something run by the government, and superhero law says you have to be at least 15 to be a sidekick understudy and 25 to be a professional superhero

- Since Eddie's power (telekinesis) developed incredibly early and his powers are stupidly strong (not that Eddie knows how powerful he really is), the government decided to make an exception for him because they didn't want to risk him turning to crime or vigilanteism and run around unsupervised for 4 years

- He's mentored to one of the country's top heroes, "Firestarter" (power is pyrokinesis, aka he can make anything combust spontaneously/control any fire or type of heat energy)

- Firestarter is in his early 40s and has had like, 3 sidekicks in the past so he's an experienced  dad  mentor

-When with his mentor, his hero-worship shows immediately and is constantly jumping into danger to "prove himself" to his mentor, much to his dismay

- Isn't as hyper as he is out of costume though, he's more calm and collected as he understands superheroing is a Big Responsibility 

- He's also much more confident in himself in costume, makes him more courageous than he'd normally be

-His best friend is a kid in his class called Matt, who transferred in the middle of 5th grade just a week after him

-Matt's mean and makes fun of everyone around him (including him), but hey! He doesn't make fun of his love of superheroes and comic books, helps with his math homework, and plays video games with him during lunch so he isn't all that bad!

- Matt is literally a supervillain that robs pawn shops and banks every week but shh Eddie doesn't need to know about his life of crime

- Ironically enough, Matt and Eddie fight each other in costume like nearly every week 

-Firestarter thinks Matt (who if he knew was actually 11 would put him into cardiac arrest) is a good "sparring partner" of sorts for Eddie, because Matt usually refrains from serious bodily harm during his heists and superhero encounters

-So basically, they're each other's archnemesis and neither of them is aware of the other's identity and Shenanigans (tm) ensue
