Dylan loves heavy metal; he lives and breathes it. Dylan is also the asshole that will tell you flat out if your taste in music is garbage. Dylan has the mindset of "rock/metal: good; other music: bad", for better or for worse (not to worry, he'll grow out of that mindset when he's older). He feels like a black sheep when it comes to his taste in music and style, but embraces his outsider status. Dylan has made a handful of comrades united in hard rock & heavy metal.
Dylan is an aspiring teen musician and artist. He is able to play both bass and guitar, and writes his own songs (though the quality of the lyrics is rough around the edges). He also loves to draw and come up ideas for a metal adventure series he made up, starring his self-insert. He shares his music and art ideas over social media. Dylan is very confident in his musical skill, and hopes to go somewhere with it one day. Playing stadiums, selling albums, having adoring fans, that's the dream.

Lives in California in a family of 5. He is the middle child in his family, having an older fraternal twin brother and younger sister.
Dylan had a decent childhood. His early attempt at music making was on kazoo and ukulele. He was given lessons when he was a bit older. Dylan eventually moved onto guitar when he was 9 or 10, and picked up bass at 13.
Dylan was in and out of a few garage bands between ages 14 and 16. At the moment, he's in a 2 piece guitar band with his friend, Izzy. Dylan records his own content in his garage at home and posts the products on YouTube and Soundcloud. If given the opportunity, he'll play at small minor-friendly clubs.
It was at one of these clubs that he met his boyfriend, Gabe.

The specifics of how they met is a WIP, but Gabe initiated it. Dylan sometimes acts as a guest musician for Gabe's band. Dylan tries his damnedest helping Gabe deal with his inner demons and the like.
These two couldn't be more different. They quarrel a lot, whether it be poking fun at each others' taste in music or Dylan complaining about how much Lyle stinks. THey tend to roughhouse if pushed far enough.
They get a long well. Dylan thinks he has pretty good taste in music. Can go to him for gay romance advice.
Like with Ben, Dylan can go to Todd for gay dating advice. He also goes to him for more emotional support and insight.
On decent terms. Respects how chill Nic is. Dylan tells him: "Be lucky you're an only child."
The two bonded over their love of metal (and distaste for pop/modern music). They are in a two-piece metal band called Pain Salt.
