Fae Backstory 

Fae cop, badass punisher of criminals. Once an eagle tengu, now a headless furnace. He and his brother stalked in the dark, bringing terror upon all those who did wrong. No matter where the fae were, no matter what point in their history he happened to be found, Afanasiy has always had the fiery, burning Passion for justice.  He lived in Argatha before the darkening, with his little family. His brother, Kieran, and his daughter, Achillea. Then his daughter died, his head and wings were cut off, and Argatha was lost to the Darkening. Afanasiy’s family had fallen apart, his daughter was dead, his brother a Dokkalfar, and he… a new tale, a new motif. A new fae, something he’d never been before. No head, no wings. 

After Argatha, Afanasiy relocated to Tir Na Nog, and once again settled back into the role Fate had given him. 

Human Backstory

Born of Russian immigrants, Callow was raised in a happy home. His parents loved him, he was never hurt by them. He did well in school. Callow Stravinsky has always been a happy, albeit rather serious man (although coming from a Russian family during the Cold War did tend to cause problems for him socially while growing up, he was always able to hold his own and punch someone in the face when it was needed). 

Joined the FBI in his early 30s, has been with the bureau for about 20 years. Eight of those years were spent undercover in the bratva as a part of one of a very huge sting against organized crime. He fatebound towards the tail end of that undercover time.
