Rhyder

One of the royal guards for the Kingdom of Lyith.

Cocky, smart-mouthed, a bit self-centered, sees himself as the protector of the kingdom (which he technically is, since he's a guard), can be a bit offensive (sometimes on purpose, sometimes on accident), values himself very highly, doesn't take anyone's crap, very loyal to the king and the kingdom, usually very supportive and defensive of the king and his decisions, listens to authority figures but not to those with lower ranks than him, will protect anyone in danger, protective and supportive towards those he cares for, brave

Short version:
A cocky and smart-mouthed royal guard of an underwater kingdom. He can be a bit offensive (sometimes on purpose, sometimes on accident) and he values himself very highly. He's very brave and, despite his demeanor, he is very loyal to his kingdom and the king. He will protect anyone in danger and he's protective and supportive towards those he cares for.

Does not get along with Rhydian at all - they oftentimes bicker and insult each other. Sometimes he feels tempted to resort to violence, but he won't since Rhydian isn't technically doing anything illegal by insulting him.

Is very annoyed by Haddock (since he's known for doing petty theft) and he will chase after him if he sees him. He never seems able to catch him though - Haddock is too fast for him. Haddock has no ill feelings towards Rhyder and is merely amused by being chased by him.

Gets along alright with Sheu, though he believes that she should be a royal guard due to her strength, which she is not interested in and she doesn't like he when he brings it up.

Doesn't like Wally very much, mostly because Wally is Rhydian's brother. Wally is fine with Rhyder.
