About Species:

Near-immortal, undead, blood-drinking vampires using blood magic created by mages many ages ago. Kanu Vampires possess minor shapeshifting abilities (original form, vampire form, animal form, and anywhere in between), along with increased strength, stamina, hearing, sense of smell, and immune system, but are weak to elemental magic. These vampires have blood that is appealing to others of their kind, and often (but not always) are territorial. They also happen to be sterile.

Cheerful, vain, adventurous/thrill-seeking, romantic, affectionate, relatively easy-going but has a tendency to take charge of situations and has no hesitance to point out others' mistakes, situationally strict, easily amused, likes to think he's very suave (and... he truly can be charming, if people can get beyond how blunt and dorky he can be).
Despite his usual composure, Nando is a somewhat anxious individual ever since his death. You probably wouldn't know it from his attitude if you didn't spend much time around him. -

5'10", pretty fit and fairly average weight. Long semi-wavy black hair typically worn with braids on either side of face and a ponytail, short beard and sideburns, dark brown eyes, and greenish tear and bind markings on his body. Has many ear piercings. Nando has diamond-shaped pupils, sharp teeth, and bat wings in his vampire form.
Nando can also be entirely a black flying fox bat. He can also use a combination of traits from different forms if desired. -

Hernando Salazar ("-Or simply Nando, if you like!" he would cheerfully tell you) is an incredibly outgoing and talkative individual with nearly everyone he comes across. Possessing a daring, blunt, and sometimes charming nature, he can either befriend people easily by inserting himself in their business, or simply drive them off for the same set of reasons.
Nando is a human turned into a vampire, and was a pirate until his death. He was later resurrected by a powerful devil.
Despite the seeming nature of vampires, pirates, and devils, he's mostly harmless and would rather just compare adventures or talk about the lovely things in life.
