Designer Notes

  • Minh has a weird ass leaf on his head. It’s made out of glass, just like the glass cartilege that makes up his hair, and it’s just a part of him.
  • He has two glass-like pompoms at the end of his tail, both of which have a stinger each. The insides of the pompoms are made out of playdough. Specifically, it’s Mint-Scented Playdough.
  • The liquid in his stinger tail pompoms also runs in his veins and is his life force. It’s basically like his blood.
  • There are skin markings and pearls all over him, all of which are traits that he was born with. They came from his Nunuke side of the gene pool.
  • He has a piercing in his left ear. He got it when he was a shitty preteen.
  • The area around his head and neck are magnetic, to attract any floating items. This is common for Nunukes since they have a lot of magnetic fashion accessories.
Personality

Minh is a miserable bitch with motion blindness. He can’t see when movement starts or ends, he can only process life through lagging snapshots, and that’s been scaring the shit out of him for years.

It’s no wonder he’s such a paranoid fucker. He’s also skittish and jumpy, even with the tiniest bit of noise or movement.

He’s a reserved and socially inept shut-in who’s always scared of change, even though life is all about change. He’s constantly crippled by his own chronic depression and never wants to leave the carehome he’s in or face any responsibilities. He just wants to die doing nothing and that’s it. His lack of motivation for anything will just plunge him into darkness, literally and figuratively.

Trivia

  • Minh rarely ever blinks. It doesn’t help that he has so many eyebags from inefficient sleep either.
  • He also just talks to himself out loud. That’s one way to cope with his life.
  • Obviously he can’t drive and never will. Whenever he has to go somewhere, his caretaker has to take him. He can never go out alone.
  • The Internet is his home. He’s constantly on it to read stuff. Books are also just as good too. Just anything that doesn’t involve too much movement, like listening to the radio or any audio entertainment, is good.
  • He can never enjoy movies or shows since they always ’lag’ for him. He’s always confused by what’s going on whenever he misses parts of the story.
History

Let’s just say karma hit this guy real bad.

When he was a kid, Minh Mint was spoiled rotten. He was born and raised in the underground Nunuke society on Xygoroth and knew nothing about his Booze Shark origins back in the planet Mnars. He was raised by a prestigous CEO prick of a father and a famous Booze Shark actress that both made bank.

From the start, he had always been super cruel and entitled to his every desire. If he didn’t get what he wanted, he’d take it out on other people, so he was handed down anything he liked while growing up.

One day, when he seventeen and drunk, he decided to just drive himself home after a wild party.

He was too stubborn to let someone more sober drive him. The dumbass really thought that he could do things all on his own. He treated this ride like a fun challenge.

This was when the biggest fuck up of his life occurred.

Instead of getting home safe, he got himself in a brutal car accident and hit another innocent Nunuke teen that had just been getting out from their shift at McDonald’s.

Minh ended up killing that kid on that night.

He ended up being the sole survivor in that whole accident, but for a price. He suffered broken ribs and more. There was one critical thing that would change his life forever.

He was now motion blind.

The occipital lope of his brain got fucked over so hard that he couldn’t see motion anymore. He could still see people and objects, but he could no longer see how they moved - or at least not fluidly. Everything was literally stagnant. None of the sounds that he heard would match any of the lagging movements that he would see people do.

It was absolutely horrendous.

Minh ended up having to drop out of high school after that.

And now, for the past eleven years, he’s been living in a carehome apartment complex that caters to people with brain damage like him.

His parents have deemed him to be a hopeless case and have been distant from him ever since they put him in the carehome system.

He’s encouraged by the staff there to keep living life to the fullest, but he doesn’t know what that means for him anymore. He’s a completely different person now and doesn’t want to do anything. It’s because of his unwillingness to move on that he’s still suffering to this day. If he can‘t even go to the grocery store by himself without having a panic attack, then what’s the point?

Minnie Caretaker

Minnie is Minh's stoic caretaker that's always with him. She never blinks and her expression is about as emotionless as a rock, but she does her job damn well, so that doesn't really matter much to him. He's a bit grouchy around her, but she doesn't seem to mind and can handle him fine.

Nani Roommate

Nani is his roommate. Minh first got acquainted with him through Minnie since he's her best friend. He's okay. They're not all that close, but Minh isn't as cynical as he used to be around him anymore. Slowly, he's getting used to seeing Nani's company around, especially since he's pretty peaceful overall.
