General Gauliére

General Gauliére is the general of the small sorcerey division in king Niet's evil army. A skilled sorcerer and an augmented human, he is probably the most powerful of all of the generals, only High General Bhruic his match. He is a beautiful young man with golden, angelic hair and a dazzling smile. Veins of black criss-cross his body under his skin, and his face has a large, black growth covering the left ear and extending partway down his neck. The veins are part of what give him extraordinary strength, but the growth is functionless and does nothing except impair his hearing.

Gauliére's demeanor is usually bright, cheery, and smiling. His voice is clear and as beautiful as his face. Both come in stark contrast to his vicious nature, lack of remorse, and clear enjoyment of violence and suffering. His subordinates have learned never to have their guard let down by his chipper, almost jolly way of giving orders, as he expects obedience and is not in the least bit hesitant about dealing punishment to those who disrespect, disobey, or fail.

The general of the sorcery division cuts a small figure, but is one of the most destructive forces on the battlefield. He is as physically strong as the best of the parasite soldiers, but additionally has powerful Dim magic that he practiced long before joining the king's army. He specialises in breaking down, cracking, destroying, and detonating, and is usually flitting through the battlefield armed only with his hands and his magic or with a short sword at his belt for close-quarters offense.

Gauliére has had ambitions to move high in the ranks since he first joined the army, and desires even more power than his current rank of general. As such, he dislikes and plots against High General Bhruic, and if he saw a weakness to exploit he would do so. Like most of the high-ranking officers, he is aware that Lieutenant Loghan is Bhruic's son. Loghan is in Gauliére's division and the general is often sarcastically and scathingly "nice" to whom he calls the "favorite lieutenant".
