Nox is easily someone that can be described as unapproachable, especially at first glance. He always seems to have a scowl worn on. He's not one to talk that much. He's definitely short-tempered and aggressive. He'll usually try and fight his way out of a situation.
So in a way, he's a troublemaker. He's sarcastic and has a sharp tongue. Despite all of this, however, once he finds someone he can trust, he will be loyal for life. His judgement of people is very black and white, so he definitely knows who to respect.
- His snake tail is named Gemini! It's a little bit stupid. It tends to bite whatever's closest to it unless Nox specifically tells it no.
- He's actually pretty good with freestyle rapping! He'd often just tell someone in his friend group to drop a beat when he has some bars in mind.
Nox grew up in an orphanage. He never knew who his parents were. From an early age, he would start displaying reckless and rebellious behaviors. He would get adopted multiple times, only be returned after a while because of all his unruly misconduct. His personality alienated others away and caused him to be alone. As much as he took pride in the whole lone wolf aesthetic, he couldn't help but feel sad about his chronic lonliness.
However, he wasn't friendless forever. He did eventually manage to befriend a boy named Aiden back at the elementary school he attended. At first, the kid seemed to be more interested in his snake tail and the fact that Nox was a Xynthii, but Aiden soon grew on him. As much as Aiden wanted to be a cool and rebellious kid, he had a heart of gold.
Nox would actually learn how to give a fuck about other people through Aiden. Just by watching Aiden's actions, Nox would see that Aiden does care about others, despite how much he gets in trouble. This wouldn't make Nox any less distrustful of people, but it does keep him from crossing every other person out as bad.
During high school, they would have another addition to their little delinquent gang. A Boozeshark boy named Lars. Together, they would wreak havoc around school and anywhere else they would loiter at.
There would seem to be a slow period when Aiden developed a crush on a quiet boy at lunch. His name is Charlie. This would make Nox jealous for sure. Not in a romantic sense, but a lot of their hangout time together would be replaced by Aiden trying to flirt with Charlie.
He does soften up to Charlie as he sees that he makes Aiden happy, which was enough to Nox. Along with Lars, they would play matchmaker and attempt to separately convince both Charlie and Aiden to just go for it and date. Finally, Aiden and Charlie both end up together as boyfriends.
Funny enough, Nox and Lars ended up getting closer after they finally managed to hook up Charlie and Aiden. After some time, Nox would realize that he has some romantic feelings for Lars. Big fat oof.
