Charlie is a student attending high school within the underground Nunuke society beneath the planet Xygoroth.
Personality
Charlie Giles thinks of himself as this boring person who's average in every way possible. There's nothing extraordinary about him, and that's what gets to him the most. Because of these thoughts, he suffers from some low self worth, although it's hard to tell with the calm and neutral persona that he usually wears on.
If the question of whether he's a realist or a pessimist were to be asked, Charlie might just answer with both. For the most part, he thinks about things through a very logical and rational mindset, though at the same time, because of his low self worth, he tends to dwell on the negative possibilities of almost every decision as well.
Charlie just gets suspicious very easily and is cynical by nature overall. He doesn’t like to believe in good luck, since great things rarely happen to him, and can‘t help but feel weirded by things that actually go his way.
Abilities
Like most Nunukes, Charlie was born with a stinger tail that can be used for self defense.
Backstory
Like a lot of Nunukes, since Nunukes are known for having mixed families, Charlie was adopted. His egg was offered up for adoption one day after his biological parents had died and no one else was available to take him.
He grew up with a few other siblings and was raised by a pair of parents who, though they cared a lot for their children, were often too occupied with work to watch over all of them.
As a result, Charlie’s sister Gina, the oldest out of all of them, was often found taking care of him and his sister Leah. Sometimes Gina’s close friends would also help her with the babysitting process.
Gina was a great guardian figure. Not only was she nice, but she was also emotionally strong and possessed all sorts of other great qualities and talents, such as being an amazing violin player. Meanwhile, Charlie felt like he was nothing compared to her, and subconsciously developed a bit of an inferiority complex as a result, hence the reason for why he grew gloomier about his self-image and the world over the years.
Now he’s currently just trying to get by in high school and graduate in one piece.
Other
When his boyfriend Aiden first started flirting with him after their first encounter, Charlie thought that it was some ongoing joke. He didn't think that Aiden was actually serious about him until they started going out and Aiden had never exclaimed, "Just kidding!" or something along those lines like expected. To this day, Charlie is in complete disbelief as to why Aiden likes him so much, but at the same time it's very flattering and no one has ever made him feel this special before. It's a new feeling, but Charlie thinks he could get used to it.
