Azel Vermeil

Azel grew up alongside his younger brother, Aiden. They were both raised by their aunt in a small and poor neighborhood. Crime was commonplace there, to the point that most illegal activity is shrugged off by the people. Neither of the siblings knew who their parents were nor did their aunt ever mentioned anything about them.

His aunt was barely ever home, so Azel always had to be there for Aiden to keep an eye on him. Even when Azel was just in highshcool. This is extra important since his younger brother does have some disipline issues. Yes, the kid doesn't mean any harm but sure as hell does he always get himself in trouble anyway. This slowly made Azel more irritable and grumpy through time as he gets called over to Aiden's school time and time again just to be told that his sibling was fucking something up once again.

The high crime rates around their area was only adding on to Azel's stress. They were robbed at some point, which made their financial state just shakier than it already was.

It only gets better! Some asshole named Neo found Azel interesting and the guy started picking on him. Azel found Neo annoying and insufferable the second they've interacted with eachother. His overly playful personality was something Azel cannot tolerate. Azel was open to expressing his annoyance with Neo but for some reason, this just made Neo even more irritating. It was as if it was a challenge. This pisses Azel off, starts off heated arguments and sometimes even ends with a fight.

Then, one day, Azel had snapped and demanded from him, “What the hell’s your damage, Neo? What did I ever do to make you such an infuriating asshole?” And something Azel never expected happened; Neo started to cry. Azel was taken aback, confused and even felt a little bit awkward. Since then, Azel was a lot less harsh towards Neo. He felt bad and pitiful towards Neo, which is why he started to try and understand what was up with Neo instead of being getting too angry immediately. Of course, Azel being Azel, he was still a bit of a grump when Neo teases him. Once Azel mellowed out to Neo, he actually started to find his jokes amusing, maybe even playing along sometimes, that is if Azel is in a good mood. That's the signs of Azel developing some feelings for Neo, much to his dismay. By some miracle, they ended up getting together, and now here they are as boyfriends.

After some time, he and Neo decided to rent a cheap apartment and move in together. He decided to have Aiden come along with them too. Not only to get him away from a bad part of the neighborhood but also because he felt bad for him, as he didn't want Aiden coming home to an empty house after school since their aunt was just so busy all the time.
