The dolphin in the mirror! Guess I should have expected that, but not this soon... Trying my best to figure out how to get them both to understand the sharpness of the world outside- hard, though, when she thinks she's lived it. Hard, when together they can touch a world I can't.
Nice enough, but also annoyingly paranoid.
I wouldn't care so much if it wasn't Gem he's always so worried about, that he almost never lets us do anything fun!
Gem's really cool though and I'm glad she doesn't take too much after her father, pretty much up for anything as long as we do it together. She has asked me to stay, but while the Atoll is ok, I don't like the other people or the King enough for that.
I also think Fish would miss me.
Drifters catch in the atoll's chains often enough, but it's rare to have one with this much harmony. An excellent guest! Quiet, a fellow appreciator of the green, lifeblood of the group. Not being a flaming racist is also appreciated.
A good man, I think. He runs Pearl Atoll well enough that it sometimes even reminds me of home a little. It's still not the same of course, but probably my favourite place to come to for trade.
Gem's a nice kid too and I'm glad she and Flowers get along so well.
