Sades

Sades is a farmer, merchant, and sometimes henchman.

character notes:

Sades grew up in the same village as Jan/Martin/Anise.
He spends most of his time with his girlfriend Elena; he works at her family's business.
He also spends a lot of time helping Anise and Martin around the farm.
Most of Anise's stress baking ends up going home with him.
His main hobby is taking care of the local stray cats.

Sades isn't a great conversationalist... he doesn't talk much, tends to be soft-spoken and concise.
Sometimes he's dragged along with a plan reluctantly because someone talked over his objections.
However, he's unusually perceptive of others and a good listener; often ends up being the group's confidant.
He always takes their thoughts and concerns seriously, but refuses to step in and sort things out for them.

Sades will often pose as the "devil's advocate" or "voice of reason" for the group's plans.
He does his best to protect them if they decide to do something risky despite his warnings.

design notes:

Sades has a fairly substantial build, solid but not overly muscular.
He keeps his hair very short and may have the sides faded.
He can't grow facial hair, but his eyebrows are fairly thick.
No notable accessories.
He doesn't care about clothes, so Elena picks out the colors/designs.
