Design Notes;
- All along his back, right at the base of his wings, Insignis has quite a few lasting scars from various fights he's been in wherein his opponent chose to try and rip off his wings.
- His eyes appear yellow due to his use of contact lenses, they're actually brown.
- Occasionally, Insignis can be seen with painted nails.
- As a weapon, the harpy utilizes a sort of modified version of the "Punjab Lasso" from the phantom of the opera.
General Information;
- Insignis is a hit-man and former representative of The Union. As someone who has a job as gruesome as killing for a living, a few screws are bound to loosen over time and some quirks in behavior and personality are almost guaranteed to show themselves as the years drag on.
- For Insignis, these traits include a very strong desire for approval from those who rank above him, feelings of jealousy or hatred that seem to manifest at the drop of a hat, and a willingness to kill or torture for personal gain that is surprisingly uncommon in the organization he works for.
- The aforementioned desire for approval warps his worldview to a dangerous degree, leading him to modify his appearance to be more appealing to those around him in ways that are either quite painful (removing some of his feathers, filing down his claws to look as close to fingernails as possible) or make him look stupid (wearing fake halos and togas).
- He is often outgoing and friendly, but when someone indicates a lack of respect for him or distaste for his appearance, the facade will slowly start to crumble until there is nothing left but a bitter rivalry.
To those who don't manage to break Insignis down into his core components of bastardliness he exudes nothing but covert smugness, an insidious sense of entitlement and has an almost constant smile to embellish it all.
