Personality
Sebastian is a kind and generous person. He likes to talk to people and help them out if he can. He wants to do the right thing and he wants to be able to prove that he will be a good King like this father.
He is a bit nieve about the way the world works as his father kept him from as many things as possible. Even though he means well, he comes off as blunt and childish in a desire to break free of his sheltered life. He can act rash at times but very nearly always obeys the rules set before him.

History
Sebastian is the only son of Mathis and Emelia and as such lived a very sheltered life in the palace. His father didn't want him involved with Bloodstone or any fighting though he was trained to defend himself when he was old enough. Most of his childhood is spent in the palace under heavy guard, unless accompanied by his father.
Lonely six year old, he wanted someone his age to play with, so Mathis looked around for a playmate. Through a careful vetting process he picked Tobias Rayne because Sebastian took to him instantly. A year apart in age they quickly became brothers and were spending as much time together as possible. As they got older, Tobias became his bodyguard and they were able to venture from the palace on their own.
Sebastian was always very accepting of Tobias. He knew that his adoptive father was awful to him and had issues with his homosexuality, so he did his best to make sure that he felt safe and loved in the palace. He promised he would be happy one day.
He encourages Tobias' affections towards Ryley knowing that he has closed himself prior. He felt the two of them fit nicely together.
Having usually always done everything he was told and beleving the world was a certain way, he is very surprised by Silas and Ryley, their willingness to fight and stand up for people. It prompts a change in him and he begins making rash decisions that have dire consequnces.
He marries Lelia Sherwood just over a year after Ryley and Silas come to Vanisca, a marriage meant to bring stability to Vanisca. He is happy with her and grows to love her. They have three children together.
His rule brings about Vanisca's second Golden Age and they assit Solpor when Atwall invades.
