Korosu (Pokemon AU)

Born to Satsujin and Kemon, Koro was enchanted by Pokemon at a young age. Satsujin, Koro's mother, was the notorious and famous leader of the dragon-type gym in town. Kemon was a simple Pokemon breeder, known for his love of Rockruffs. Kemon passed away from Koro was still relatively young and most of Satsujin's warmth left with him. She became unreasonable brutal on young trainers and Koro as well. Satsujin decided to train Koro to take over the gym. Koro was more interested in the Pokemon Contests that aired on the television but obliged his mother's requests. His mother gave him a special gift of his first Pokemon - a Midnight Lycanroc. It was an incredibly powerful Pokemon, but very difficult to control and had an extremely aggressive temperament. 

One day, a young trainer named Straza visited the town - preparing to face the gym. Straza and Koro quickly became good friends during Straza's stay. When it came time for Straza to challenge the gym, Satsujin insisted that he fight Koro. Koro, unable to control his Lycanroc, watched as the Pokemon severely injured Straza's precious Emolga. Straza left in horror and Koro never saw him again. Koro denounced the gym and left town to find his own path. He decided to become a Pokemon Coordinator and compete in Contests - leading him to a chance encounter with Aspyn.
