Nephi is the heir the the throne in his home country or Ragept, so he feels a lot of pressure from his family. He moved to Matchamerica, the country where these guys live in order to learn leadership skills in an unfamiliar environment and to gain better schooling, which wasn't offered in his home country.
So hes in the same class as the aforementioned kids. He tries to come off as a leader to everyone, but he's nervous and clumsy and feels like he's being silently judged and criticized all the time. So mostly he just stutters and talks very loudly. Most people find him kinda obnoxious and tend to avoid him.
His school has a normal dresscode, yet Nephi still dresses the way he would back home. Simply because he feels obligated to, not because he actually wants to. His parents always told him that because he is a future king, he should always dress like one and that he should appreciate all the attention it draws but Nephi kind of hates it. He finds the clothing that people wear at his school particularly interesting and cool and would rather wear that, but what would his parents think?
he especially likes formal wear and thinks people look really cool in it.
He holds a secret grudge against Miruko because he was voted class president even though Nephi had been trying so hard.
Nephi became quick friends with Chiyo after inviting him in on a rainy day
His fiancee is Nana, chosen from an array of suitors. Their relationship is curently unromantic, but they do like eachother. When Nephi was still in Ragept, they slept together every night.
