King Victor's Links
Eliza's old brother. Despite his cold and seemingly heartless behavior towards Eliza when he reigned as king he actually deeply cared for her and if anyone dared to hurt her he would have done nothing short of killing them. He did not want Eliza to know she was his sister so that may have been a reason for his treatment of her at the time. When she betrayed him he was crushed deeply but it made him realize just how awful of a person he had been. After he learned his lesson and came back he was much more clear about his care for her and did not hide it.
Victor's younger sister. Their resemblance isn't very obvious. She originally didn't know she was related and she served as his personal assistant/servant for quite a long time as he wanted to keep her close, she resented him during this time period and ended up backstabbing him (though Victor deserved it at the time). After Victor's whole redemption arc, their sibling relationship got better and they forgave one another for their actions.
Mortimer's cousin (Victor's uncle's son). Didn't even know of Mortimer's existence until he was overthrown. Loathed him and mocked him before he lost. When he lost at first he was focused on revenge but over time just saw him as naught but a blight upon the innocent people of his former kingdom. At the end when he came back to take Mortimer down he had very little feelings toward Mortimer aside from disgust.
Victor's cousin. Thought himself superior to Victor in every way but didn't let it show. He plotted to overthrow Victor for years on end as soon as he learned of his royal heritage. He began a whole rebellion just do to this. He relished in Victor's downfall and gloated about killing Victor after he had thrown him over the cliff at the big betrayal. When Victor came back, alive, to take Mortimer down Mortimer was enraged and loathed him immensely.
Was annoyed as hell by her at first despite her care. Learned to care for her later on after he realized how awful he had been and was quite thankful. When he left to go take down Mortimer he was almost hesitant because he knew he would likely not see her again.
Old lady. Nursed Victor back to health after his downfall. Taught him how to become a better person, though of course he had to learn that mostly on his own. She did grant him the power to disable the royal magic after he lost his; so he could defeat the tyrant Mortimer.
Firstborn son.
Victor's father. When Victor was first hatched he held great pride for his son, but quickly became cold and distant. He never held his son in contempt and he felt no malice for him; but his powerful aura and absence from Victor's childhood created a crevasse in their relationship that would not be mended.
Theradon would begin to treat his son harshly, always thinking his son was not good enough to inherit the throne and power of the king's bloodline. When Theradon's Sister-In-Law, Helena, took advantage of Victor's fear and soon to be rage, Theradon was unaware of the dagger now pointed at his back.
Eventually Victor would challenge his father and kill him. After his father had been weakened through poison by Helena.
