Chi

Chi is a human that was cursed with the ability to shapeshift after falling into a special spring behind an abandoned shrine. She lost her memory when first hit the curse and shapeshifted into a giant spider and spent many years as a "boss monster" for adventurers to try take down. After finally being defeated, Chi returned to her natural form in a coma state, once awakening it took some time but her memory did return. She was from a clan trained in Tai chi and Kung Fu however they sent her away to take over the family shrine.

Once fully recovered Chi starts fixing up the shrine however her shapeshifting isn't stable and so she changes gender each time she awakens from her sleep. The male form comes in handy as it's popular with attracting women to the shrine so she doesn't find it all bad. Chi keeps the fact that her and her male counterpart are the same person and labels herself as Tai, her "twin" when in his form. She can also shape shift back into the monsterous spider form but only when she feels intense anger or overwhelmingly threatened.

She decided Tai as it meant that the twins had a pun for names - Tai Chi ( haha )

She loves yellow flowers and presses them into books in her spare time, she also likes to eat strawberry based desserts.
