Roswald is an adventurous, mission set man who's been living the life of an outlaw necromancer up until his mid thirties, where he then met the love of his life and chose to dedicate his life with her. However, his plans fall short when his fiance tragically passed when their countryside home was mysteriously set ablaze. Since her passing, Roswald has found himself blinded by grief and dead set on bringing her back to life by tracking down the artifact belonging to the legendary Zoemancer.

After years of hunting, Roswald manages to find the lost relic, even managed to get his hands on it, but at a cost. When he removed it from it's resting place, he unknowingly opened himself to a curse that moved his soul into the body of a cat, and lost the artifact in the process. Not only will he have to find it all over again, but he is faces with the challenge of being in a whole new body and a set of challenges.
