- Modern day, California - But any modern urban setting works!
- Abel lives in an apartment complex near a beach but frequents the local cafe, library, and bookstore; they will occasionally be at a bar if invited
- Works from home mostly, but will meet up with clients and the like as often as they are called out to meet
- Doesn't really travel unless they're being paid well to do so for work
in platonic relationships
- Abel is very open with strangers, so it's not much different with friends
- Independent and often likes to be left alone when possible
- Abel's never really told anyone they were friends, most people just assume they are and they go along with it
- They tend to keep to smaller friend circles; their closest friends are like family to them
In romantic relationships
- Feels embarrassed when showing affection, and will get flustered when teased about pda
- Likes to shower their partner with small gifts and makes hand-written letters
- Not super affectionate and a bit insecure in beginning of a relationship

- Abel's rather laid back so they will go wherever the conversation takes them, they may even suggest/recommend things they think may be of interest
