Personality
The first thing that people know about Haley is that it’s really hard to actually know anything about her. She refuses to talk about herself in any meaningful capacity, instead changing the subject and giving people an enigmatic smile. There’s no big secret, though, she just enjoys being extremely mysterious and having no one know anything about her.
Haley is exceptionally athletic. She spends a lot of her free time working out. After all, working out makes her feel good and she enjoys feeling good. Plus, she absolutely enjoys the looks she gets, especially from her wife. Although it may not seem like it from the outside, Haley enjoys doing things for others so long as it’s of her own volition.
One of the things Haley values most is practicality. She despises clutter and waste and so has a difficult time keeping things around that she deems unnecessary. Her entire drive is to get things done as cleanly and simply as possible. It upsets her when things are convoluted, messy, or otherwise inefficient.
It’s almost impossible to lie to Haley. She has a way of knowing things that she probably shouldn’t and is unafraid to call people out. Haley also doesn’t tolerate nonsense from anyone or anything. Don’t waffle around the question when she’s nearby, just be straight forward so you don’t get publicly shamed.
Haley has an inflated view of herself. She believes that she is capable of doing many great and wonderful things - and she is, but perhaps not to the heightened degree that she thinks. She fails to acknowledge her own limitations and continues with things that will most likely kill her if she completes them.
Design Notes
- Haley is able to shift into the ringox feral form.
- Haley has patches of plate scales on her body. This is due to her dragon tail. She did not, however, get wings.
- Haley’s hair is greying a bit. However, she still keeps it long and flowy.
- Haley’s default outfit is business casual. She has a fairly androgynous style and prefers simple blacks and whites.
Trivia
- Haley is the owner of the Golden Isle’s largest bank. When she was younger, she was very involved with the goings on of the banks. However, now that she’s older she’s stepped back quite a lot and is only mildly involved at best. She’s still quite wealthy from it, though.
- Haley is rather fond of all of Azalea’s snakes. They’re quite fascinating creatures.
- Haley has a large collection of carved bones. Why? No one quite knows. Perhaps she just likes them? Most of them seem to be from non-sapient origin...
- Even though sand is a pain to get out of fur, Haley has been known to straight up bury herself in sand for hours at a time. It’s so strange.
History
Haley’s parents were from the time before the Golden Isles, the time before everything happened. She was raised on stories of the time before, on how good life on Earth was and how terrible war was. Because of this, Haley’s parents also instilled in her the concept that she was supposed to be better than all the others and to be the rightful controller of this world.
Haley never bothered with trying to take over the government though. She was content with running banks and holding control over people’s money. Although she had some opinions on how the government was run, she wasn’t dumb enough to try and usurp Cynthia. Nothing good could come from that.
Much of Haley’s earlier life was spent just kinda gliding through life without interest in romance. There were many other things she wanted to do, falling in love wasn’t one of them. Sure, she had a few short relationships, but nothing serious.
Azalea changed everything. Haley was successfully seduced, but then she beheld Azalea in all of her existence and went “oh no I love her.” She convinced Azalea to drop the whole sugar baby thing and find something better to do with her life (and also fall in love and get married).
The two of them have had a lovely relationship ever since. Haley ended up taking a step back from her job in order to focus more on Azalea, who is simply amazing. They moved to the Outlands into a large and well protected manor where Azalea could plant a rose garden and the two could be happy.

Haley and Azalea have an exceptionally close relationship. They helped each other discover things about themselves that they never thought possible. It’s amazing all that they can do together. Haley can’t help but adore Azalea and would give her the world. Interestingly, they do have a relationship that’s open in the bedroom but otherwise they’re completely exclusive.
This kid reminds Haley so much of a younger Azalea. He’s so young and yet already dedicated to a similar conquest as Azalea was. As such, Haley can’t help but be a little worried about him. Sure, he’s an adult. However, he’s just such a young adult! Haley wants to make sure he’s doing everything okay.
The first time Haley met Dove, she saved his life. Somehow, that was the basis for a friendship. Even though they rarely see each other in person due to Dove’s nomadic lifestyle, Haley still enjoys their conversations. She’s considered getting Dove a phone so they can communicate long distance, but he’s never been interested.
Agnes needs to stop. Seriously. She may be millenia old, but that doesn’t excuse all of the arson she’s committed! Especially to some of Haley’s oldest buildings! God, what a nightmare of a woman.
