Whisper is the quiet and tired looking librarian in Ponyville. Trixie and Sunburst have always been proud of the fact that their daughter has very powerful magical ability however Whisper isn't bothered; in fact she doesn't really do much with her magic at all. She likes hiding away in the library and being a wall flower; so much so that no one notices her until she makes herself known. This does have the knock-on effect of making her feel rather lonely but a lot of the time talking with others is too much for her so she'd rather be lonely than overwhelmed.

While Whisper gets along fine with her father and extended family but she tends to clash with her mother from time to time. They just have opposing personalities and that causes them to rub each other the wrong way. Not that they don't love one another, it's just hard to get along sometimes.

• The fact that Trixie would rather have her daughter be a performer like herself or a famous magician is often the root cause of a lot of the arguments between the two.
• Whisper has hypersomnia which causes her to sleep a lot and be very tired, she can even fall asleep mid-conversation.
