DESCRIPTION
Thanks to their love of leather and obnoxiously smug nature, Vince wears their title of “designated bad boy” with pride. As a mortal child they were known as quite the troublemaker; as an adult- and later vampire- it only made sense for them to carry on their misdeeds. In fact, it’s arguable that their recklessness only increased after their death, as they often enjoy doing genuinely dangerous things with little concern. Heavy metal, violent horror movies, sex, and blood are just a few of their interests.
Despite their rough-around-the-edges exterior, Vince does have a soft spot for those they truly care about, even if it’s difficult to express this most of the time.
Vince has a tall height and muscular build. They have pale pink skin and dark pink hair styled in a choppy mullet. Eyes are red, but they appear light brown at a first glace. Multiple piercings on their ears. Has freckles and has visible scars on their left eyebrow, the top of their left hand, and their right leg. Being a vampire, Vince has clawlike nails, fangs, and pointed ears. Notorious for tracking mud around the house from refusing to wipe their shoes off. They wear a lot of black, messy clothing, as well as loads of jewelry and gloves.

Backstory
Not much is known about Vince's past, or at the very least, they don't care to discuss it. They were born in America to parents who were originally from Ireland and immigrated during the famine to hopefully start a new life. However, by the time winter rolled around, Vince's parents had given them up, mostly by force.
Even as a child, Vince was a really unruly kid; they were pretty much the bane of every one of their caregivers' existence. Due to never officially being adopted Vince was forced onto the streets at just fourteen years old.
At some point in his early 20s, they were assaulted by a vampire and turned; however, they continued to live independently until they met Mary in 1980.

Trivia
- Heavily inspired by movies The Lost Boys and Near Dark, as well as 70s/80s heavy metal and hard rock culture.
- Enjoys stupidly cheesy Halloween things and watching B-horror movies- the more sex and violence, the better.
- Unlike a lot of vampires, Vince loves being around humans, albeit, not necessarily because they respect them. Humans are food, after all. Vince enjoys going to parties too, especially if there's drugs or alcohol involved.
- Vince is mostly illiterate due to not getting a proper education during his childhood and never really felt like it was necessary to get one anyways. Mary later started to teach them some things, so they can read a bit, just not very well.

Relationships
To Vince, Charley is a lot like the younger little brother they never had. That is to say, most of their interactions with Charley are teasing him to no end. They're a little sympathetic to Charley's plight; however, they do believe, should Charley not find a cure, it's only fair to show him the ropes of being a vampire.
Although Vince is by default an antagonistic and independent person, they appreciate Mary’s company more than anything, really. Yes, they sometimes find Mary to be a bit of a stickler, and yes, they do actively try to break rules that he puts in place, but Vince knows which lines not to cross- mostly. Despite everything, they respect Mary, and don’t want to pry with anything that might endanger their friendship.
Vince loves hanging out with humans, but Mel's the first one in probably well... his entire life that he can hang out with for real (aka, not in hiding, and not using them for... well... a snack). They also tried to do a séance once. It didn't really work out tbh
