DESCRIPTION
Overall, Charley’s a rather friendly- albeit sometimes frazzled- kid. It’s no secret that Charley’s known to overthink things or get anxious easily. He’s not fond at all of risk-taking or doing anything outside of his comfort zone in general. He absolutely hates anything horror-related, which is very ironic, considering that he’s slowly turning into a vampire. Although he’s prone to being nervous, Charley’s in no way shy- in fact, he’s very extroverted and outgoing. Among his interests, Charley’s very into comics and cartoons. He also loves collecting tacky shirts- it’s a mystery to his friends why he has as many as he does.
Kinda short, average build (although he's pretty out of shape). When he was human, Charley had tan skin and brown eyes. As he is slowly turning into a vampire, Charley's skin gained a slightly pink hue and his eyes turned pink. His fingernails aren't as long as a full vampires' and his fangs are smaller. His hair has always been dyed pink, however. He wears tinted glasses, partially because he used to wear glasses before being turned, partially because Vince said he'd look cooler that way. Always goes for comfort over anything else with his clothes.

Backstory
Charley was just your average kid, until he started dying.
Somehow, Charley is turning into a vampire- and with the help of Mary and Vince- two morally questionable vampires- and Mel-an acclaimed psychic- he’s going on a cross-country trip across the states to find a cure for his vampirism before he turns for real.

Trivia
- His namesake comes from Charlie from Fright Night and he was inspired heavily by both him and Sam from The Lost Boys.
- Has a plethora of Hawaiian shirts with funky/tacky prints. Why he has this many is a mystery to Vince and Mary
- His glasses are fake. He used to actually need them, but due to his new vampirism, his vision has gotten immensely better. He still likes wearing glasses, though, so he bought a fake pair.

Relationships
Charley is most comfortable with Mel, not just because she’s the only other human, but because she seems like the most personable one out of the group. Mel comes off as very introverted and “quirky” in public, but when talking with someone in private, she’s very down to earth and willing to hear people out. Charley just needs a friend at the moment, and he’s come to really appreciate Mel in the short time they’ve known each other.
Mary outwardly gave Charley the impression that he’s someone who prefers to be cut off from everyone else. He isn’t authoritative, but he seems to be like the de-facto “leader” of the group. For this, Charley respects Mary, and keeps it at that at first.
Although he will be civil around him, Charley does not like Vince. He isn't one to start fights, but he personally finds Vince overstepping his boundaries too often.
