J0Y

An average large-bodied synthetic inhabitant of March London, J0Y is an AI who lives in their chilled server stack apartment in the Digital Quarter but additionally has a chassis they use to get about and interact with the world with via remote wireless control. The chassis is not currently equipped for direct signal connection and J0Y can't go anywhere that doesn't have wi-fi networking, and has never been outside of the city.

J0Y is a philospher and artist, but their writings/creations are not popular and they don't really make any income exceeding the base standard every London citizen recieves to the cover the cost of living (in J0Y's case, this is mostly power use and server maintainance). Their work focuses on contemplations on the dichotomy and parallels between organic and synthetic life, emphasising humour, sadness, and pleasure as key points of all sapient creatures and the different forms of such. Their art pieces are mostly web locations that are full of entangled diagrams, their written works, and other data spliced together.

J0Y has an organic lover Kasrou who lives separately, away at the green edge of Ring Park. She means the world to J0Y, though their living requirements are different. J0Y's body screens often carry stylish animated designs made for them by Kasrou.
