Hatchet

Another of Tartar's experiments, designated RX17, Hatchet was made for significantly less friendly testing purposes than others of her kind. Largely ignored during her younger years, she was taught to read and cook so she would be able to feed herself, but otherwise left to her own devices, alone. Any attempt to ask her about what happened when it did start to take note of her will be met with tight-lipped rejection. She managed to escape the test centre she was contained in during her teenage years and fled, finding her way to Inkopolis. Ragged and worn from the trip, this dangerous-looking stranger found no hospitality in the city. In need of food and shelter, she heard about turf war being a way to make money, and went to try it - only to, after a victory and a teammate giving her a celebratory slap on the back, react badly and punch him in the face, resulting in a lifetime ban. With no way of earning money and no home, she wandered the city uncertainly, scavenging whatever she could. Eventually finding an abandoned warehouse out near a scrapyard, locked up tight but accessible via a damaged hole in one of the walls around the back, she made it her home. In a similar area on the outskirts of the city was a metal processor, and she makes a limited amount of money by scavenging for metal and selling it to the processor. Haunted by her experiences, she has frequent nightmares, and does not sleep well. Distrustful of people, she has no friends, and treats anyone who tries to be kind to her with suspicion, expecting ulterior motives. With both her physical and mental health in poor condition, she is in a perpetual bad mood, frequently angry and lashing out at those around her.
