Sugar's Links
Sugar's elder step-brother.
The two are on excellent terms and tend to travel and treasure hunt together across the skies in his airship.
She harbours feelings for him, though even she is confused what kind of affection it is. He is unrecipricative, and in fact entirely unaware, which suits her just fine.
Whip's younger step-sister.
There are few people in the world that he cares for more than her. The two get along swimmingly, and they coalesce well as a team.
Whip holds a lot of guilt in regards to her, feeling that the wounds she suffered on her ears were directly his fault. He sometimes tries to overcompensate for this by giving her extra attention, but it doesn't usually help.
Sugar's step-father.
She is his good little girl. With one violent exception, she would never speak out against him. In fact, she can thank that one exception for the subservience she now feels around him.
He terrifies her.
Coal's Step-Daughter.
He never cared much for her when he first hooked up with Ivory. After Ivory passed, however, he found himself in the forced custody of the young little girl, scarcely able to talk and walk at that point.
He raised her to listen and behave like a good girl should, and despite having to teach her lesson once...
Well, it was only once.
Sugar's step-mother.
Despite living with her longer than her own mother, Sugar never quite bonded with Viva. Even as a child, she felt partly-responsible for the illness that befell Viva, and so she didn't feel worthy of her as a mother.
She felt guilty when her sibings mourned Viva's death, because she felt nothing.
Viva's step-daughter.
A major part of why Viva took Coal back when he returned two years after leaving her the first time was because he carried in tow three little children, one of whom was now an orphan.
That was Sugar. Viva felt horrible for what happened to the poor girl, and no small part of the regret she felt upon her deathbed came from never getting to know Sugar better.
Caek was an interesting girl for Sugar to meet! She was super kind, if not assertive, and kind of funny. She acts in a way Sugar finds a little strange, but in the end, she was the only one who offered her something in return. That made the little rabbit happier than she probably knows.
She also thinks Caek is kind of hot oops. Darn that latent pansexuality.
A sweet young girl who should maaaybe stand up for herself a bit more. Sugar strikes as someone who's... well... a bit of a push-over? Not that Caek has a problem with that - she married a complete push-over!
The girl is just like, really genuinely nice, it's just nice to see. Caek just hopes that in future she doesn't allow people like Wicked to push them around - or at the very least, if someone tries, there'll be someone there to look out for her!
Sugar's younger half-sister.
Sugar and Swii get along swimmingly. She is one of the few people she regularly spends time with who can enjoy company in silence, and Sugar appreciates that a lot. She only wishes Swii would come to forgive their brother the way she has. She doesn't like how powerfully her sister clings to grudges.
Swii's eldest half-sister.
Swii likes Sugar. She can read, which is a rarity in their family, and she can be quiet, which is very nice.
But she feels bad for Sugar. She's really messed up in the head, even if she never shows it, and Swii can tell. She still... remembers having to bandage her ears, all those years ago. More like she can't forget.
Sugar's younger half-sister.
Sugar and Tii don't interact much, but they still get along alright. Sugar can appreciate her cheery mood, it's very reminiscent of Whip's, and they hold no grievances with each other, but... They just don't really hang out much. It's just how they are.
Tii's eldest half-sister.
Tii likes Sugar a lot. She never treats her like she's immature or anything, and she's actually fond of the sweet-and-salty things she cooks, but... It is a little wierd that they don't spend much time alone. It happens though, so no big deal.
Sugar's youngest --and only-- step-sister.
Their relationship is rather strange. It's almost as if the younger sibling sees her as a friend that she lives with rather than a sister. They get along nicely, though Sugar does wish she'd open up to her a little more.
Sugar currently supports her and the twins with some of what she earns by treasure hunting.
Mars' eldest --and only-- step-sister.
Sugar is alright in her eyes. She was very quiet for most of their childhood, and then she suddenly decided to speak up for herself and now she's running a household of her own. Mars... Definitely appreciates Sugar's devotion to taking care of them, but no matter how hard she tries, she can't see her as anything more than... A stranger. She's too different.
