Motivation: Her penultimate value is freedom, for both herself and others. But mostly she just wants to have fun, create, and maybe build up her own influence. She craves respect. Maybe even reverence. An aunt back on Arboria was a Matria, while Penne's not nearly responsible enough to be one realistically, it's certainly a tantalizing idea to her.
Personality: Flirtatious and ego incarnate.
History Overview: Penne was still a child when the Ravaging began, and was among the first evacuees before the Queen gave the mandatory order to flee Arboria. She finished growing up within the Exile fleet, fresh never frozen, and apprenticed under a Granok mechanic. She discovered her knack for spellslinging as a teenager but never became any sort of top fighter or noteworthy sharpshooter. More of her time was put into the sciences, especially those mechanical.

She's been traveling with the Crimson Vinds of late. Though she wouldn't consider herself a space pirate, it's more an alliance of convenience. Acting as a mechanic for them, getting transport to Nexus, and having them test some of her newest creations for her.
Faction Opinion: Penne'd love for the two factions to get along, but can't see it happening so long as Emperor Myrcalus has a head. ... And part of her really, really doesn't want it to happen until such prerequisites are met. She makes goo-goo eyes at most tall alien races, the Draken and Mechari are no exception. But she's very aware of her own mortality and their own loyalties. And finally, she's actually willing to deal with Dominion citizens regarding shared research or selling her wares. But she saves the best stuff for personal friends and herself, and would just in general avoid giving the Dominion military any advantages.
